I am constantly driving myself to learn all I can about design and development, fueled by the steady flow of new ideas and technologies I find on the internet. It never ceases to amaze me how trends come full circle; that methods of design deemed "wrong" just a few years ago are now so widely accepted. The moral, of course, is to be unafraid to push out the boundaries and to chart your own course - something I am proud to do in my design and layout. Much of my inspiration comes from Cameron Moll and his unique designs and perspective on the industry. My love for color theory is akin to his ideas of layout and design. By exploring what others have done well (and not so well), I'm able to adapt my work to fill particular niches, or to create new ones where they don't yet exist!
When I'm not creating in the digital realm, I find myself playing guitar and listening to music of all kinds, particularly newer "up-and-coming" bands on the local scene. One day, I'll have a band of my own - just you wait and see! I also enjoy creative pursuits like photography, cooking, men's fashion and travel, even though I rarely have time to go anywhere anymore. Seattle and Denver are two of my favorite cities: Seattle for its laid-back artsy scene, and Denver for the rustic beauty of its mountains. In the future, I hope to develop a blog feature for this site and share my experiences as a student of the world-at-large. If you'd like to get in touch with me, please drop me a line on AIM TRdesigner07. And, check out my resume' if you want to know more!
